The Knoxville Academy of Medicine (KAM) is located in West Knoxville at 115 Suburban Road. KAM is Knoxville's professional organization of MDs and DOs. KAM is a component society of the Tennessee Medical Association (TMA) and is also affiliated with the American Medical Association (AMA).

Our KAM Foundation's newest community project is Knoxville Area Project Access (KAPA). KAPA is a physician-led community effort in cooperation with many community health partners. KAPA was created as a comprehensive healthcare plan to help patients who struggle everyday with the challenges of poverty, have no access to employer-sponsored or government-sponsored insurance programs, and have an income of 200% or below poverty level.
